Spitfire Scramble 2018

Spitfire Scramble 2018

We have not one but two superwomen in our club, Lucy and Keely win the Spitfire Scramble pairs event, alternately running 6 mile laps for 24 hours (Yes, in the dark too) they completed 21 laps (which equalled the best male pairs effort) and that included Keely helping an injured competitor during one of her laps, and having to help carry the invalid on a stretcher for half a mile as two of the first aiders were unable to!! consequently losing the time to complete another lap and denying them outright victory
